ITINERARY:
The Machu Picchu tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to the train station in Cusco or Ollantaytambo. From there, you will board the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, also known as Aguas Calientes, enjoying the landscapes of the Sacred Valley and the Urubamba River along the way.
Upon arrival in Machu Picchu Pueblo, our staff will provide the necessary instructions for your visit to Machu Picchu. Afterward, you will board the bus that will take you to the entrance of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and Peru’s main tourist attraction.
Once at Machu Picchu, you will take a guided tour with a professional guide, who will explain the history, importance, and legacy of the Inca citadel. During the visit, you will learn more about Inca culture and discover why Machu Picchu is considered one of the most impressive destinations in the world.
After the guided tour of Machu Picchu, you will have free time to take photographs and enjoy the spectacular landscapes surrounding this historic sanctuary.
Optionally, you may complement your visit with the climb to Huayna Picchu, subject to availability and prior reservation, from where you can enjoy some of the best panoramic views of Machu Picchu.
Afterward, you will return to Machu Picchu Pueblo, also known as Aguas Calientes. You will then have free time to have lunch or explore the town, its artisan market, and the surrounding area.
At the scheduled time, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our transportation will take you back to the city of Cusco, concluding a unique experience in Machu Picchu.
